Paul de Blank

Paul de BlankPaul de Blank received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, and then obtained and M.S. degree there studying thermodynamics and nuclear engineering. After Stanford, he spent two years as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army and was awarded two Bronze Stars for his service in Vietnam.

Following his return, Mr. de Blank enrolled at Columbia Law School, where he was active in student government and volunteer legal services, graduating in 1973. He spent three years as a lawyer in Hartford, Connecticut, before returning to his home state of Arizona. Starting in 1977, he practiced in the civil litigation department of a large Phoenix law firm as an associate and a partner.

Mr. de Blank decided to strike out on his own in 1990 and finding himself practicing increasingly in family law, he decided to limit his practice to the area exclusively as of 2000. He handles all aspects of trial and also has served as a family law mediator.

Paul enjoys opera, the textile arts, discussing deep philosophical issues with his two standard poodles. He and his wife enjoy visiting their four grandchildren in California, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
