MediationMediation

Mediation has been recognized as a successful and cost effective approach to resolving family law disputes. Mediation is the process through which two parties meet with a neutral third party. The neutral third party helps facilitate a resolution to the parties’ disputes. Unlike arbitrators who can make binding rulings that one or both parties may disagree with, a mediator’s recommendations are non-binding and only become effective if both parties agree. At De Blank & Toussaint, P.A. we offer two approaches to mediation.

First, at De Blank & Toussaint, P.A., we have over 15 years of mediation experience, and we are available to be retained by non-clients to mediate their family law dispute.

Second, the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure require that parties and attorneys work in good faith to try to settle a dispute if that is possible. At De Blank & Toussaint, P.A. we are committed to seeking mutually agreeable solutions out of Court, and we often recommend to our clients that before they go to trial, they try to resolve their case with the assistance of one of the many fine mediators we have worked with in the past.
